Lindal Homes Advantage vs Traditional Stick Built

Not all homes are created equal. Several factors, including home type, pre-construction process, materials, and the time required for building, can influence the overall cost.

Cost

Lindal Homes has a systemic pre-planning and architectural process. This precise, repetitive process allows for more accurate material takeoffs translating into savings over the course of your build.

Whereas, with custom stick built, the takeoffs rely on little to no systems making them less accurate leading to material change orders and more money surprises for you.

Predictability

With Lindal Homes, your material costs are locked in before your build starts. This gives you an accurate reflection of 1/3 of your build costs right upfront.

With traditional stickbuilt homes, your materials are ordered throughout the build process leaving you susceptible to economic fluctuations and budget surprises.

Build Time

Post and beam homes are designed to be built much faster than traditional stick built homes. The less time you are paying subcontractors to work on your home, the more money you save.

Prefabricated

Efficiency

Lindal Homes are all culled and milled in a factory setting. This process provides you with precise, quality materials creating efficient home builds and saving you money on waste.
With traditional stick built homes your lumber comes in nominal sizes which are then cut on site. This creates more waste and relies on the subcontractors to use the material correctly and efficiently.
